April “Final Friday” Event

The Montgomery County Democratic Party will host their monthly event “Final Friday” April 26th 6:30 PM at the Montgomery County Democratic Party Headquarters, 1712 N Frazier, Suite 117, Conroe TX 77301 (corner Wilson Road & N Frazier)

Our Guest speaker will be Viviana Silva-Sanchez, Outreach Manager for The Montgomery County Women’s Center. Ms Silva-Sanchez has been advocating on behalf of domestic violence survivors for 5 years. Her ambition in empowering victims and/or survivors of domestic violence is personified by her positivity that she brings to each presentation. Her experiences assessing victim/survivors and providing direct services, drives her passion for working with youth to build skills that aim for healthy relationships.

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Ms. Silva-Sanchez will be covering the agency’s programs and the services provided to the community.

Mission: To lead the effort in preventing Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault through crisis intervention, assistance, advocacy, empowerment and social change.

Attendees are welcome to drop off the following items identified as the most needed items for the emergency shelter.

These items can be taken to the MCDP Headquarters anytime between now & Final Friday or brought with you on Final Friday.

· Bath Towels

· Hand Towels

· Ladies Underwear (sz 5, 6, 7, 8 )

· Diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6)
