Montgomery County NAACP (Scholarship Recognition Program)

The Montgomery County Chapter of NAACP supports education by awarding scholarships to deserving high school graduates who are residents of the county. Our objective is to encourage youth to graduate from high school and continue their education by providing much needed scholarships of $500 – $1,000 to talented seniors.

We appreciate the community support we have received in previous years, and we thank you!  We have been successful in awarding fifteen $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors over the past eight years.  Our goal is to exceed that number next year.

Donation forms can be found at the link below.  Please make checks payable to “MCNAACP #6304” and note that the donation is for the Scholarship Fund on the memo line. Mail donations to MCNAACP #6304 Treasurer, PO Box 2712, Conroe, TX 77305. Logos for corporate sponsors will posted on the website.

The 2019 scholarship application process is finished.  Thanks to all of the scholars who applied.  The 8th Annual Back To School – Stay In School Scholarship Recognition Program will be Friday June 14, 2019 at Top of Conroe Tower, 300 Davis Street, Conroe, TX, 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
